Animation Advert
This is a 30 second animation piece created by me and Jake Bentley for promoting equality and diversity at Grantham College. We both took it in turns to animate the models, take the frames of the models and we both separately edited the final frames together. It was created to show equality and diversity in all forms and that it should be overcome in every aspect whether you're human or a cardboard box.

Evaluation of Advert
The idea for the animation was a stop motion which is where each frame is taken indiviually and compiled together to create the illusion of the characters moving. In this case it was created using a mixture of Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects to use a mixture of green screen chroma keying and JPEG sequences. The final peice managed to replicate the storyboard to almost exactly the same level which showed the storyboard was created with great depth and accuracy in mind. Using the green screen allowed the backdrop and flooring to look exaclty how it was originally designed and made it much easier as no lighting issues or problems could occur with this method. The characters however did create a few problems as building them turned out to be difficult due to their size and complex net box design but they still managed to look good on screen. Overall the finished product managed to match the original ideas in almost everyway and also managed to look to the best it could in the end.
